Mobile app development that ships.

Mobile app development for iOS and Android — designed, engineered, and launched by one senior team. From first wireframe to App Store, you get momentum without the agency overhead.

Which project

Four kinds of app project. One standard.

Where an app idea stands today is the first thing that sets both the budget and the calendar. Whichever of these four describes you is where the scope conversation starts.

Single platform

You start on iOS or Android. For teams who want real users to validate the idea before investing in a second platform.

One store · native

iOS + Android

A full product shipping to both stores: one shared design system, two native builds, one team. The most commonly chosen scope.

Two stores · one team

Enterprise product

Multiple user roles, integration with systems you already run, and real scale expectations. The architecture calls are made in the first sprint.

Multi-role · integration heavy

Takeover and rescue

We take over a live app. First an audit of the code, the architecture and the store standing; the repair-or-rewrite call comes after that report.

Scope

What does mobile app development actually cover?

Mobile app development is the process of taking a product idea through research, design, native engineering, store submission and post-launch measurement until it is live on the App Store and Google Play. Caliency runs that entire process with one senior team, on a fixed scope and a fixed price.

iOS app development
iOS app development means writing an app in Apple's own language and UI framework — Swift and SwiftUI — compiled for iPhone and iPad alone. What separates it from cross-platform is access to device capabilities and OS releases without a lag.
Android app development
Android app development covers a native app built in Kotlin and Jetpack Compose for Google Play. The difficulty differs from iOS: the target is not one device family but a fragmented field of screen sizes, OS versions and manufacturer behaviour.
Mobile application development strategy
Mobile product design is the work of deciding what the user does, and in what order, before deciding how any screen looks. Its output is not a picture but a testable flow: a clickable prototype surfaces a wrong assumption before code is written.
Flutter app development
Flutter is a framework for shipping to both stores from one codebase. Whether it is the right call is a product question rather than a technical one: it pays off for interface-led products without deep hardware dependencies, and costs elsewhere.
Mobile app development services, pricing and contract
Our mobile app development services are quoted as a fixed price after discovery — no open-ended hourly billing. As an app development agency and mobile app development company we contract through a US LLC: scope, timeline and price are fixed in writing, and the source code is yours from day one.

What we do

Not one more app — a product you can own.

We build mobile products at enterprise scale: architecture, design system, production infrastructure and store operations included. Everything ships documented, so your team can take it over after handover.

Product design

We run the design from research through to a clickable prototype, and engineering does not start until the screens are approved.

  • Design system

Native engineering

Native with Swift and Kotlin, or Flutter when a single codebase is the right call. The decision follows the product, not the technology.

  • Swift
  • Kotlin
  • Flutter

Infrastructure and scale

API architecture, real-time sync, offline support and identity. A foundation you will not have to rewrite once your user count grows.

Store and beyond

App Store and Google Play submission, the review process, ASO and analytics setup. Post-launch measurement and iteration stay with the same team.

A build on your device

Not a report. An app that opens on your phone.

Every week we ship a real build through TestFlight and Play Internal Testing. You see progress on your own device, not in a deck.

Marketplace app screens composed on a dark background

Marketplace · iOS + Android · 14 weeks

We rebuilt a marketplace that three agencies had already been through.

We inherited an app sitting at 2.9 stars with a cold start close to five seconds. We rewrote the data layer, cut checkout from seven steps to three, and moved the team to a weekly release rhythm.

How we work

Four phases. Each one leaves something you can hold.

As you scroll, the device on the right switches to that phase's actual output. No phase passes with “we are working on it in the background”.

  1. Week 1–2 · Discovery

We set the scope and the architecture together.

We map user, market and technical constraints. What comes out of this phase is a scope document that also writes down everything deliberately left out of version one.

  2. Week 3–5 · Design

A clickable prototype, before a line of code.

An interactive prototype and design system tested against real flows. We prove the experience here, at the phase where changing it is cheapest.

  3. Week 6–12 · Engineering

A build on your device every week.

Weekly distribution through TestFlight and Play Internal Testing, automated tests and a performance budget. You see progress on your phone, not in a report.

  4. Week 13+ · Launch

    We run the store operation.

Submission, review correspondence, ASO and analytics setup are ours. Measurement and iteration continue with the same team after release — there is no handoff.

Discovery

Team

You talk to the person writing your app.

There is no account-manager layer. The senior team assigned to your project stays the same from start to finish; the engineer in the first call is the engineer who ships to the store.

A person at two screens: a code review on the left with added and removed lines marked in colour, a phone in their hand

Product engineer

Makes the architecture calls, writes the code and ships the build to the store.

A person standing at a wall of printed screen flows, a phone in one hand, marking one of the printouts with a pen

Product designer

Builds the flows, tests the prototype and hands the design system to production.

A person facing two operational dashboards: time-series graphs, a scrolling log panel and a map of connected services

Infrastructure engineer

Sets up the API, data model and deployment pipeline; solves scale problems before they arrive.

Frequently asked

Clear answers before you start.

If you cannot find what you need, write to us — we reply in 27 minutes on average.

Native if there is camera, AR or heavy device integration. Flutter if the same experience on both platforms is enough. We give you the decision in writing, with the reasoning.

You do — from day one. The repository is opened under your account and the IP transfer is written into the contract. Your product keeps running even if you do not continue with us.

We run the process and there is no extra charge. Our rejection rate is low because the App Review checklist and demo account are prepared before submission.

It is priced as a new item and does not start until you approve it. The contract price never rises on its own under any circumstance.

Yes. We work with in-house teams on a shared repository and a shared sprint rhythm, and document architecture decisions during handover.

Yes. Caliency is a US-registered LLC; the contract, invoicing and IP transfer follow US standards. The team works in both Turkish and English.

Let's take your idea to the store.

A 30-minute discovery call. You leave it with a clear scope, a real timeline and a fixed price — not a sales pitch.
